My real name is Ashan, most people call me Ash. I'm an Abkhaz who grew up in Turkey and currently living in London. I went to many different schools in 3 different countries. The only school that I attended from beginning to graduation was Greenwich University which was the last phase of my educational life.
I've been using the GLaDio alias since the day I started using the internet. My career as a developer started with a simple homepage on freeservers which eventually evolved into this site. I used many programming and markup languages but I can't say I'm an expert on a specific language. Before I make a web page or a program I search for the most suitable way to do it and then decide what to use to do it. Obviusly when you work like this you get a bit of everything.

The developer tools/IDEs I regularly use are
- Notepad (the most important of all)
- Visual Studio
- Netbeans
- Turbo c# Explorer
- Dreamweaver
- Photoshop
- Flash

I use XP on desktop and Vista on laptop. Occasionally I use Slax(Live CD Linux), mostly when my system crashes. Three things I can't do without on a computer are:
- Opera
- Visual Studio
- Winamp
I usually keep my computer turned on at all times. Sometimes I even leave it on when I go abroad. I get ideas for new projects from almost anything so when an idea pops into my mind I go straight to the computer. I have tonnes of developer stuff that I'm supposed to add to my blog but I get put off by the thought of how much stuff there is. I think you can figure out how lazy i can be from that. That's enough info for now.
